About SIH & This Internal Hackathon
Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is a nationwide initiative (Ministry of Education / AICTE) that invites student teams to build product-oriented solutions to real-world problems. RJIT is conducting an internal SIH round to shortlist teams for SPOC nomination to the SIH 2025 portal.

Rules & Regulations
Key points from SIH 2025 guidelines
- Only students selected in the internal hackathon may be registered on the SIH portal by the college SPOC.
- Team composition: exactly 6 members; at least one female member is mandatory.
- SPOC will nominate the top 45 teams (+5 waitlist) from RJIT for SIH.
- Each team must nominate a team leader (official point of contact) and submit the idea on the SIH portal using the required idea template / PPT.
- Project submission for the SIH portal requires the Idea PPT and a link to the design/artifact (as per SIH instructions).
- Any differing/extra rules (stipends, travel, deployment of winner projects) will follow SIH official guidelines and ministry instructions.
