VG-TAP (Volkswagen Technical Apprenticeship Program) VGTAP RJIT Gwalior was inaugurated by Sh. S.S Tomar Director, BSF Academy on 13th May, 2015 in presence of Sh. Alexis Joseph , head of after sales Audi-India, Sh. Mukesh Tyagi, Commandant / Principal RJIT , Sh. Mansur Mohammad head Technical service and training Audi-India, Sh. Ravi Nagfase AGM Technical training VG Group Academy.

It is an industrial MOU between VGSIPL(Volkswagen sales India Private limited) and RJIT, where the skill levels of faculties and students are upgraded to global industrial requirements. The VG-TAP training facility consist of state of art modern lab consisting of air-conditioned classroom, well equipped training centre with AUDI A6 vehicle for practical demonstration to the students. The lab consists of modern diagnostic equipments, engines, transmission and tools.

About Trainers

For smooth conduction of training programme, 02 faculties of Automobile Engineering Department Mr. Anand Baghel and Dr. Gaurav Saxena use to go through regular training at Volkswagen training Academy, Pune and AUDI dealership located in various regions. They provide theoretical and practical training to students on service, repair and maintenance of LMV vehicles (Petrol and Diesel). They had trained more than 110 students of the institute for Volkswagen group since 13th April 2015 and presently in 2022, 8th batch of final year B.Tech. and diploma students of Automobile and Mechanical engineering streams are under training.
