Syllabus is designed as per RGPV guidelines and updated regularly to meet industry requirements. The Curriculum of Mechanical Engineering is proposed by RGPV Bhopal which align with today's industry need. The curriculum is capable of developing the mechanical engineers who are compatible to industry as they have the knowledge of latest technology use in the industries, internship provides practical exposure to the students.

Under the Outreach Activity the department will connect with nearby industries for the internship offers and placement opportunities for the students. The Department Faculties will conduct Indoctrination and industrial visits for the students.
Regular expert lectures and workshops are conducted by industry professionals and research experts. Various Seminars have been conducted by faculties of Mechanical Engineering Department. A FDP was conducted in 2021 by Prof. Mugdha Shrivastava on Integrated CAD/CAM for Advanced Manufacturing.
Faculties of Mechanical Engineering Department had received various awards from SRIJAN Bhopal for delivering 100% results in the subjects they taught. Prof. Rajan Sharma, Prof. Mugdha Shrivastava and Prof. Ajay Bangar has received Appreciation Cards from Hon'ble ADG Sir. Prof. Rajan Sharma has received appreciation card from Hon'ble DG BSF for the successful completion and installation of Floating Bridge on lake at BSF Academy. Hon'ble ADG BSF for R&D in Drone Project with 1 lakh cash prize and 1 lakh prize for the successful completion of 1st Phase of Smart Multi-barrel Launcher (SBL) CENVOSTO (twice in last 3 months).
