Important Information

Rustamji Institute of Technology (RJIT) is a Govt. Aided Institute established and managed by the BSF. All academic programmes run on self-finance mode; hence, all admissible allowances such as DA and HRA shall be subject to the financial position of the Institute. No claim whatsoever regarding financial benefits shall be claimed as a matter of right.

EPF will be deducted as applicable: 12% of Basic Pay + DA or Rs. 1800/- per month, whichever is less, as per the ceiling norms of EPF.

Performance will be evaluated based on academic results, research contribution in terms of publications and research projects, assigned duties, and other parameters as per Institute norms. Based on performance, salary may be re-fixed at any time.

Any candidate appointed on a contractual position, and later found eligible for regular appointment or appointment to a higher position, shall have their basic pay re-fixed at that time by the Selection Committee.

At present, the age of superannuation for all faculty members of the Institute is 60 years, which may be reviewed and changed by the BoG in the interest of the Institute. However, faculty members may be re-appointed as per requirement.

Applications are processed quarterly starting from January:
First Quarter – Jan–Mar,
Second Quarter – Apr–Jun,
Third Quarter – Jul–Sep, and
Fourth Quarter – Oct–Dec.
However, as per the requirements, the Institute may call suitable candidates anytime to appear for the selection process.

Accommodation may be provided on a payment basis in the Institute Guest House, subject to availability.
