Types of Appointments & Salary Structure

Engineering Branches:
Up to ₹25,000 additional for candidates with strong publication records.

Non-Engineering Branches:
An enhanced salary component may be given for deserving candidates.
B Contract (On Scale) – 3 Years AICTE 7th CPC Scale
(No allowances/perks)
Annual performance evaluation; extra increments may be granted.
C Regular Appointment (Modified Allowances) AICTE 7th CPC
26% DA + 10% HRA
As per 20th BOG norms, similar to existing faculty.
D Regular Appointment (Full Allowances) AICTE 7th CPC
52% DA + 10% HRA
For highly meritorious candidates as per 20th BOG norms.

Important Information
  • Applications are processed quarterly (starting from Jan): First Quarter – Jan–Mar, Second Quarter – Apr–Jun, Third Quarter – Jul–Sep and Fourth Quarter – Oct–Dec.
    However, as per the requirements the Institute can call suitable candidates anytime to appear for the selection process.
  • Ensure all relevant information and documents are uploaded before finalizing the application. Keep a copy for your records; no hard copy is required.
  • Accommodation may be provided on a payment basis in the Institute Guest House, subject to availability.
  • Applicants must inform their current employer about their application to RJIT.
  • The Institute reserves the right to fill or not fill positions in any specialization and may set higher norms for short-listing based on specific requirements.
  • Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted via the email provided in the application form.
  • The Institute may restrict the number of candidates for interviews based on qualifications, experience, and academic achievements.

Recruitment Process

The selection process will be conducted in two stages as follows:

  1. Document Verification

    The submitted documents will first be verified online. Candidates shortlisted after online verification will be required to present the original documents for physical verification during the interview/selection process.

  2. Online Presentation

    The first stage will comprise an online presentation to assess the candidate's teaching and research abilities.

  3. Interview Process

    Candidates shortlisted based on the online test and document verification will be invited for the interview stage, which will consist of three rounds:

    • Research Aptitude Assessment
    • Teaching Skills Evaluation
    • Personal Interview
Depending on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and demonstrable achievements, the Institute reserves the right to offer appointment on a lower pay scale or on a contractual basis.
