About Department

BSF Academy has one of its unique BSF wings by the name of Central School of Motor Transport (CSMT) at Tekanpur. CSMT is an ISO certified training unit of BSF which imparts Motor Vehicle trainings of different modules to BSF personnel. It is known for its state-of-the-art automobile lab facilities.

RJIT is the first institute in North-Central India to start B.Tech & M.Tech courses in Automobile Engineering. Since inception, Automobile Engineering remains the flagship branch of RJIT.

1989 - Foundation

BSF started Diploma-Automobile Engineering course at CSMT exclusively for BSF wards due to state-of-the-art automobile lab facilities.

1999 - RJIT Establishment

Observing the successful run of Diploma course, BSF management started RJIT with AU as its core branch.

2011 - M.Tech Launch

Under further expansion, M.Tech-Automobile Engineering Course was started.

Present Day

23 batches of B.Tech-AU & 13 batches of M.Tech-AU have passed out successfully and are doing very well in Government & Corporate sectors across the globe.

Vision

Automobile Engineering Department envisions to create quality global workforce in the domain of automotive engineering who would emerge as future technocrats, researchers and innovators in corporate and Government sectors.

Mission

  • To impart quality education to the budding engineers as per latest industry trends
  • To improvise and improve teaching methodologies as well as technical contents year by year
