Fostering Scientific Discovery and Innovation
Established in 1999, the Department of Chemistry at Rustamji Institute of Technology (RJIT) is dedicated to providing high-quality education in chemical sciences. As a non-core department, it supports the B.Tech curriculum by offering foundational chemistry courses that enhance students' understanding of material properties and chemical processes essential for engineering disciplines.
The department is equipped with modern laboratories and experienced faculty members who are actively engaged in teaching and research. We emphasize hands-on learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and environmental awareness, preparing students for careers in industry, research, and academia.
To be a center of excellence in chemical education, fostering scientific inquiry and innovation to support engineering education and societal development.
